Amanda Scott: Lady Escapade

Lady Escapade was published in January 1986. Amanda Scott writes a story about Diana Sterling who hastily married the Count of Andover and then wondered if she had made a big mistake when she met his brother!

Allan Kass gives us a couple standing in an office or library. They embrace like lovers. I like that the heroine is almost Nordic like in coloring. Her lilac gown is simple but decorated with lace. The room is not cluttered with detail but I like the screen near the fireplace. It would have been made and embroidered by a lady of the house.
