Lord Abberley's Nemesis was published by Signet in August 1986. Amanda Scott writes about Margaret Caldecourt who needs Adam Fortescue, the most scandalous rake in England, to help her get her inheritance from being stolen by unscrupulous relatives.
I like this cover by Allan Kass. The heroine wears an unusual dark blue gown which is bold and daring. She stands in an embrace with the hero, who is very handsome in his black dress. It's an intimate moment that is frankly romantic.
