The Battling Bluestocking was published in July 1985 and Amanda Scott tells a story of Jessica Sutton-Drew and Sir Brian Gregory whose courtship is fraught with idealism from the fledgling women's movement since Jessica's aunt is their leader!

Allan Kass illustrates our couple dressed in their heaviest winter outerwear for this cover. I like the heroine's purple coat and elaborate bonnet with plume. Look at that muff!! The hero is layered with his greatcoat over his normal evening wear. It's an earlier Kass cover and one I hope you enjoy!
