It looks like a nice fall or spring day since both wear gloves but our heroine isn't wearing a pelisse or coat. I like the plum theme of their clothing and the heroine wears a very feathery hat. They look like they've either met unexpectedly or are taking a break while walking to view the bridge, which now has shops inside it!
