Margaret Summerville: The Wicked Wager

The Wicked Wager is the last of the Kass illustrated books for author Summerville, but she wrote many more for Signet's regency romance line. February 1987 is the publication date for this title.

Allan Kass shows our couple outside on a spring day. The heroine is gorgeous in purple while the not unattractive hero is simply dressed in riding habit. Note the detail of the iron decorated windows and creeping flowers.
