Town Tangle by Margaret Summerville was published by Signet in April 1986. Camilla Selwyn decided to make the Viscount St John fall in love with her since he snubbed her brother and forbid her friend to court his sister! She hoped to bring him down from his height of arrogance but was playing a dangerous game!
Allan Kass illustrates this cover showing our couple on their way out the door to a party or ball. The heroine is dressed very elegantly in green and gold, which go well with her red hair. I like that it seems like a moment caught in time where both are amicable with each other.
