Brighton Intrigue by Emma Lange was published in January 1989 by Signet. Ariane Bennington is worried that the marquess of Chatham is playing a game with her because of the lovely Cecily Ashton, who is his ideal match in this dance of love.
This is an older cover by Allan Kass but I like the setting by the sea. Both our hero and heroine have been riding and it looks as if they are taking a stroll while admiring the scenery. I like the shades of blue in the water and sky. The hero's riding coat looks very expensive and the heroine's dress of velvet looks warm.
